Intended use
Drilling, facing or boring heads are designed for use on milling machines. Boring heads enable the perpendicular facing of the end faces of bores or the boring of very precise, round bores. This allows extremely accurate bores with interference fits to be produced on conventional milling machines. This is of great advantage, for example, when manufacturing bearing seats.
