Intended use

This drilling device for round materials is intended for use on lathes. It is used to drill centred holes in round materials and to prevent the drill from running. While the device is inserted into the tailstock, the drilling tool is clamped in the lathe chuck of the machine.

Description of the

Round materials and shafts with diameters from 6 to 35 mm can be securely clamped in this hardened steel drilling device. The fixture has a Morse taper shank for mounting in tailstocks of lathes. The round material to be drilled is clamped in the milled prism via a clamping jaw. Depending on the diameter to be drilled, the corresponding drill sleeve is inserted into the clamping jaw and secured with a grub screw.
