Intended use
ER collets are used in conjunction with the appropriate collet chuck to securely and quickly clamp tools with cylindrical shanks. The use of collet systems ensures high concentricity of the respective tool.

Description of the
These collets are manufactured from high-alloy chrome steel in accordance with DIN 6499. This material guarantees high wear resistance and therefore a long service life. As all surfaces are polished, a high system accuracy (collet in collet chuck) of a maximum concentricity deviation of 0.005 mm is achieved or guaranteed.
In order to maintain this very high concentricity, we recommend using these collets with the appropriate precision collet chuck.
The collets are supplied in an aluminium case for proper and clear storage.
