Intended use
File handles serve as grips for files. The file handle is attached to the so-called ‘file shank’ of the file. This attachment can be permanent, by driving the file handle onto the file shank, or the file and file handle can be connected via a quick-change coupling. In the latter case, the file handle can be used with several files.
