Intended use
Fixed steady rests are used to prevent long, thin workpieces from bending during machining on the lathe. Fixed steady rests are also the method of choice when long workpieces have to be machined on the face side.

This cast steady rest is attached to the prism bed of the SIEG C6 or SC6 using a clamping block. The three brass support jaws are infinitely adjustable using knurled screws and enable easy positioning on the workpiece. The setting of the support jaws can be fixed using a hexagon nut for each jaw. Workpieces with a diameter of up to 65 mm can be machined with this steady rest.

Passt auf IKD400 bzw 550. Entgraten mit Feile
Passt auf IKD400 bzw 550. Entgraten mit Feile angeraten, was möglich ist da die Kontaktflächen nicht gehärtet sind. Keine präzisen Referenzflächen, wackelt leicht wenn noch nicht geklemmt. Schrauben drĂ¼cken die Messingbacken auf das Drehteil, holen die Backen aber nicht zurĂ¼ck wenn sie gelöst werden. Qualität passt zum Preis, fĂ¼rs Hobby aber nutzbar.
