Intended use

Fixed steady rests are used to prevent long, thin workpieces from bending during machining on the lathe. Fixed steady rests are also the method of choice when long workpieces have to be machined on the face side.

Description of the

This cast steady rest is attached to the prism bed of the PM2500 or PM2700 using a clamping block. The three brass support jaws are infinitely adjustable using knurled screws and enable easy positioning on the workpiece. The setting of the support jaws can be fixed using a hexagon nut for each jaw. Workpieces with a diameter of up to 68 mm can be machined with this steady rest.

Reklamation

Beim Versand wurde eine Rändelschraube verbogen. Nach RĂ¼cksprache mit Paulimot wurde anstandslos eine neue 1 Tag später geliefert. Super !!!
