Intended use
Forstner bits can be used to drill clean and dimensionally accurate holes. The Forstner bit is used in woodworking, e.g. for making blind holes, or very often in furniture making for making mounting holes for cup hinges. Knotholes can also be drilled easily and precisely using this type of drill bit.

Description of the
This Forstner bit can be used to drill holes with a diameter of 26 mm. The drill has a clamping shank with a diameter of 8 mm. The cutting edges are made of high-quality carbon tool steel. Thanks to the centre point, the drill bit can also be used with a hand-held drill as well as in a pillar or column drill. The two peripheral cutting edges ensure a clean, dimensionally accurate hole that does not break out or tear at the drill edges. The drill bit is suitable for soft and medium-hard types of wood.
