Intended use
Forstner bits can be used to drill clean and dimensionally accurate holes. The Forstner bit is used in woodworking, e.g. for making blind holes, or very often in furniture making for making mounting holes for pot hinges. Knotholes can also be drilled easily and precisely using this type of drill bit.

Description of the
This set contains 15 Forstner bits with diameters from 10 to 50 mm. The drill bits with diameters from 10 to 30 mm have a clamping shank with a diameter of 8 mm, the drill bits with diameters from 35 to 50 mm have a clamping shank with a diameter of 10 mm. The cutting edges are made of high-quality carbon tool steel. Thanks to the centre point, the drill bits can be used not only in a pillar or column drill but also with a hand-held drill. The two peripheral cutting edges ensure a clean, dimensionally accurate hole that does not break out or tear at the drill edges. The drill bits in the set are suitable for soft and medium-hard types of wood. The Forstner bits are supplied in an aluminium box with foam insert for clear and proper storage.
