Intended use
A height gauge or depth gauge is a type of vernier caliper that features a so-called measuring bridge instead of measuring legs. It is used in the same way as the depth measurement function on conventional digital vernier calipers. Combined height/depth gauges can be used to measure both the depth of grooves or blind holes and the height of steps. This tool is very commonly used for adjusting the height of circular saw blades.

Description of the
This digital altimeter and depth gauge is made of plastic and has a frosted measuring scale on the slider as well as a large display that makes it easy to read the measured values. This measuring device can be switched on and off using the ON/OFF button. It also has buttons for zeroing, saving the measured value and switching between mm and inches. The magnets embedded in the measuring bridge make it easy to attach the height and depth gauge to metallic surfaces. The insertable pin for depth measurement is clicked into the measuring bridge.
