Intended use
The DM300-V is a bench lathe for the hobby segment. It can be used to produce workpieces, particularly from wood, using cutting, scraping or sanding processes. The machine is mainly used to produce round or cylindrical mouldings such as chair legs, bowls or columns.

Description of the
The DM300-V is a compact bench lathe with a Vario drive and a centre distance of 330 mm. The Vario drive allows the spindle speed to be perfectly adapted to the requirements of the respective work process. The speed range from 750 to 3,200 rpm is covered by a belt position, so there is no need to change the drive belt. Both the workpiece support and the tailstock can be easily adjusted to the respective workpiece size using clamping levers. The scope of delivery includes a second tool rest with a width of 110 millimetres and a face plate with a diameter of 142 millimetres, which enables precise and versatile turning.

Preis-/ Leistung ist sehr gut
Ich habe mir die Maschine für Märkte zugelegt - daheim nutze ich ein anderes Kaliber, eine Midi 2 plus von Schulte. Interessant an dieser Maschine ist die stufenlose Drehzahlregulierung, und das Gewicht von knapp 20 kg passt optimal zur Größe. Also ideal zum Mitnehmen... Es versteht sich von selbst, dass man an dieser wirklich kleinen Drechselbank auch nur sehr kleine Projekte realisieren kann. Die Maschine ist recht gut verarbeitet, die Spitzenflucht ist in Ordnung und sie läuft sehr leise und vor allem rund. Leider habe ich in meinem Fundus nur ein Futter, was man aufschrauben kann. Alle anderen haben eine Ablaufsicherungsnut, die leider verhindert, dass man die Futter weit genug auf das sehr kurze M33 Spindelgewinde aufschrauben kann. Meist verbleibt nur ein Gewindegang, und das ist schlichtweg unzureichend bzw. viel zu gefährlich. Einsteigern würde ich eine größere Maschine empfehlen - die 300er bietet zu wenig Einsatzmöglichkeiten - für mich aber eben passend. Der Service von Paulimot war auch dieses Mal wieder herausragend !
