Description of the
The SIEG SC10 is a 230-volt metal lathe with variable speed control. This centre lathe and feed spindle lathe is driven by a powerful, brushless DC motor with an output power of 1,500 watts. The dynamic control ensures a high torque in all speed ranges. It adjusts automatically to maintain the specified speed. The speed range of the SC10 extends from 100 to 2,000 rpm. It has a centre distance of 700 mm and a very solid machine bed. The large centre width, the 160 mm lathe chuck with camlock holder and the 300 mm orbital diameter above the machine bed allow even larger workpieces to be machined. The lathe has 14 longitudinal and 14 face feeds, 15 metric and 9 imperial thread pitches, which can be set via the feed gearbox. A reversible centre allows the direction of rotation of the lead screw to be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. This means that left-hand threads can be produced with this lathe. The direction of rotation and speed can be set at the touch of a button on the control panel. The speed display, the START and STOP buttons and the emergency stop button are also located on the control panel.
4-axis magnetic tape measuring system
The pre-installed 4-axis magnetic tape measuring system with LCD screen deserves special mention. Some of the functions of the measuring system include

- Straight line (SHL): For evenly divided bores on a straight line
- Tool compensation in lathe mode
- Radii (R): For milling a radius or circular arc

- Taper turning in lathe mode

Kleine Meckerpunkte, aber sehr zufrieden
Sie Skaleneinteilung ist ein wenig.... wie soll ich sagen? Praxisfern. Ich rechne vor jeder Zustellung. Das Handrad vom Bettschlitten rastet nicht ein, wenn man also, beim Längsdrehen, das eingestellte Maß braucht, sollte man gut aufpassen, dass es nicht nach vorn rutscht, also auskuppelt. Der Umschaltknebel für Längs- und Plandrehen, der gleichzeitig das Ein- und Auskuppeln der Selben übernimmt, ist ein wenig hakelig, aber funktionell. Alles in allem habe ich mich schnell an die Maschine gewöhnt und habe einige Projekte damit erledigt. Bin, trotz meiner Meckerpunkte, sehr zufrieden.

Gute Qualität, bin zufrieden
Ich bin mit der Maschine sehr zufrieden. Gute Verarbeitung. Für Hobby und professinelles Arbeiten (z.B. Muster und Prototypenbau) gut geeignet. Gute Leit- und Zugspindel Maschine zum angemessenen Preis.

Schnelle Lieferung
Die Maschine wurde sicher verpackt angeliefert. Die Drehmaschine ist ordentlich Verarbeitet, Die Motorleistung ist für meine Anwendungen ausreichend. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

Super Maschine
bin sehr zufrieden mit der drehmaschine die die wegen dem begrenzungsblock und dem vorschub meckern.... man kann die rutschkupplung an der zugspindel einstellen. einfach etwas empfindlicher machen, dann stoppt der vorschub wenn der schlitten am anschlag ankommt

Erster Eindruck
Macht einen sehr guten ersten Eindruck und funktioniert wie erwartet. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, wie auch schon in andern Bewertungen erwähnt, dass der Begrenzungsblock nicht seine Aufgabe erfüllt und vom Vorschub weitergeschoben wird.

Bin sehr zufrieden mit der Maschine, die Spindel läuft innerhalb der Toleranzen und auch sonst war alles bereits sehr genau voreingestellt (Reitstock). Nur der Planvoschub musste nachjustiert werden, der sprang immer von selber heraus. Die Maschine läuft auch bei höheren Drehzahlen sehr ruhig und macht insgesamt einen stabilen und wertigen Eindruck. Klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

SC10 Erste Erfahrungen
Abwicklung, Kommunikation, Lieferung seitens Paulimot: 5 Stern / max ***** Rundlauf an der Spindel besser als +/- 20 Mikrons. Für diese Preisklasse ***** Rundlauf am Reitstock mit mitlaufende Körnerspitze ****. Am Reistock: Offset + 0.1 mm in der Höhe und 0.1 mm horizontal. Kann mit moderatem Aufwand korrigiert werden; Schade **. Rauschpegel und Vibrationen **** Multifix System: leider keine centrale Achse um die Drehung zu führen. ** Montageflansch für Drehfutter: nicht geschliffen, die Camlock Bolzen werden bei der Lieferung vergessen, schnelle und unkomplizierte Nachlieferung.
