Below you will find information on the accessibility of our website.

We will inform you about,

  • what services and functions you can expect on this website,
  • how you can use this website and its functions,

2) Offer and functions of this website

This website is an online shop for the sale of goods.

Goods are considered to be physical objects.

Goods are presented to you here which can be added to an electronic shopping basket and then ordered and paid for with binding effect.

This website has a header and a footer menu.

In the header menu, the goods we sell are listed by category and can be called up individually from there.

Each product is described on its own detail page with further information on its main features, the scope of delivery and the total price. From there it can be added to the electronic shopping basket.

In addition, the electronic shopping basket can be accessed via the header menu as soon as you have added at least one item to it. The electronic ordering process can be initiated and completed from this shopping basket.

In the footer menu you will find links to our imprint with our contact information as well as to information on the legal basis of our online offer, shipping and payment options as well as links to other helpful service pages.

3) Explanations on the use of the offer and functions

3.1 Virtual buttons

This website can be operated using virtual buttons.

3.2 Start, overview and detail pages

On the start page, you will find a selection of products on offer in the central page area. Interacting with a product presentation takes you to the product detail page.

You can navigate between the various product categories in the header menu.
After selecting a category, you are taken to an overview page in which all products in this category are displayed.

Interacting with a product presentation on the overview page takes you to the product detail page.

The product detail pages contain, in addition to all essential information about the product and the total price, may contain a quantity selection element and a shopping basket button.

If available, the desired order quantity can be specified via the quantity selection.

3.3 Electronic shopping basket

By clicking the shopping basket button, you add the product (in the selected quantity, if applicable) to the electronic shopping basket.

This electronic shopping basket can be called up at any time via the header menu.

Here you can first check the added products. You can use the corresponding buttons to remove products or, if applicable, change the order quantity.

3.4 Electronic ordering process

After checking, you can complete the electronic ordering process by interacting with the corresponding buttons.

To do this, you will first be asked to enter your contact details (at least name, e-mail address and delivery or billing address) in an input mask.

In the next step, you can then choose between the available delivery and service options.

Finally, you can choose one of the available payment methods, enter the necessary payment details and finalise the order.

The binding placement of the order only takes place when the button provided for this purpose is pressed on the final order page. It is labelled "Buy", „Buy now“, „Order with obligation to pay“ or another clear formulation.

Before pressing this order button, you can navigate back to the previous steps and/or cancel the order process at any time using the „Back“-Schaltfläche Ihres Browsers button on your browser.

If you have opted to pay using an online payment method, you will be redirected from the final order page to the payment providerʼs system to make the payment there.

4) Legal requirements for accessibility

As an online shop, this website belongs to the so-called „services in electronic commerce“ and is characterised by an electronic ordering and payment option.

It is subject to special legal accessibility requirements.

In general, this website must provide functions and procedures that are tailored to the needs of people with disabilities and enable usability with digital aids.

The online shop functions of this website must be

  • perceptible
  • operable
  • understandable and
  • robust

designed.

Perceivability means that the information and components of the online shop are presented in such a way that they can be easily perceived by all users.

Usability requires that the functions of the online shop can also be used by users with limited mobility or intellect.

Comprehensibility requires that the information and functions of the online shop are logically structured, easily recognisable and unambiguously labelled.

Finally, robustness requires that the content and functions of the online shop can be used reliably and without restrictions, even if users utilise digital aids.

If there are products for sale in the online shop that are subject to their own accessibility requirements, information on accessible use must be provided for such products, where available.

5) Available aids for accessible use

This website fulfils the accessibility requirements through the following measures:

  • Alt texts for images: Images in the online shop are provided with alternative texts that provide a brief description of the image and can be processed by screen readers (screen reading aids).
  • Customisable font size: The font size of the page content can be adjusted to make it as perceptible as possible for every user.
  • Adaptability of the colour contrast: The colour contrast of the page elements can be adjusted. It can be raised or lowered.
  • Operability via mouse and keyboard: The online shop functions can be operated both via mouse and keyboard. The mouse pointer can be moved and operated in the online shop using the keyboard control keys.
  • Cascading Style Sheets (CSS): A programming language is used which separates the presentation of the page content in terms of layout, colour and design from its content structure. This makes it possible for digital tools to use their own visibility schemes to display the page content.
  • Checked correctness of HTML codes: All HTML codes are permanently checked for functionality in order to rule out functional failures and the inability to be captured by digital aids.
  • Sufficient spacing between characters: Characters are displayed at a sufficient distance from each other so as not to impair legibility.
  • Responsive design (adaptation to different screen sizes): The content, elements and functions automatically adapt their dimensions to the size of the screen being used.
  • Scalability (visibility when enlarged): Page elements and content remain legible in high resolution even when enlarged.
  • Text notes if input fields are not completed: If mandatory input fields are not filled in, a text message is displayed in addition to a coloured marker. This note clarifies which information is missing in the input field.
