Intended use
A measuring stand is used to hold measuring devices such as dial gauges or feeler gauges. The base usually consists of a magnetic block. The main component of a measuring stand is the arm. Its adjustable joints allow the measuring instrument to be positioned at the desired location. There are various mounts at the end of the articulated rod for attaching the required measuring instrument. A distinction is made between measuring stands with central clamping and measuring stands with individual joint adjustment.
