Description of the
The Milwaukee BOLT helmets are very comfortable to wear and meet the highest European standards for safety helmets. The BOLT system allows the helmets to be compatible with various accessory products with a simple and intuitive fastening system. An extensive range of BOLT accessories is available, such as visor, helmet light, hearing protection, etc.
The shell of this safety helmet is made of Lexan, an extremely impact-resistant material. In the event of an impact, the foam inner shell stiffens gradually and distributes the pressure evenly over the entire head, regardless of the point of impact. The foam inner shell has an additional inner padding, which ensures a comfortable fit. The inner padding and the premium sweatband are breathable, washable and replaceable. The ventilated version is supplied with a chin strap certified in accordance with EN 12492 (colour code red), the non-ventilated version with a chin strap certified in accordance with EN 397 (colour code grey). The safety helmet fulfils the requirements of EN 397 for additional protection at very low temperatures of -40° C, lateral deformation and 440 V electrical insulation (non-ventilated version). The ventilated version fulfils the EN 12492 standard and is suitable for use in low-voltage installations in accordance with section 5.3 of EN 50365 - Electrically insulating helmets. The non-ventilated version complies with EN 12492 with the exception of point 4.1.4. The BOLT helmet is available in eight different colours with a matt finish: white, yellow, orange, red, black, green, blue and Hi-Vis warning yellow.
Important notes: Before and after each use, check the shell, suspension and padding for breaks, cracks, crack patterns, discolouration, chalky appearance or other unusual conditions. If any of these conditions occur, the helmet must be replaced immediately, as these conditions may indicate that the helmet has lost its ability to protect against impacts, punctures and/or electric shocks. Obsolescence: Ten years from the date of manufacture or five years from the date of first use, whichever comes first. Storage: The helmet should be transported in sufficiently sturdy packaging to prevent accidental damage to the shell or harness. Store the helmet in a suitable storage bag and/or in a closed cupboard to avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight, cold, moisture, exhaust fumes, etc. Storage temperature: +5 C to +35 C. Storage humidity: < 85%, protected from direct sunlight.
