Description of the
The Milwaukee SHOCKWAVE 17 mm 1/2" impact socket is designed for professional use with cordless, electric and pneumatic impact wrenches. It is made from high-strength, forged chrome-molybdenum steel and has been specially heat-treated to ensure a long service life and maximum load-bearing capacity, even under extreme torque. The SHOCKWAVE Impact-Duty design ensures that impact energy is absorbed in a controlled manner, significantly reducing the risk of breakage or deformation. The precision-machined 6-point profile grips the screw or nut optimally at the flanks, thereby minimising rounding off even with seized fastenings. A clear laser-etched size marking and the distinctive ‘ Milwaukee ’ colour band allow the 17 mm socket to be quickly identified, even in low-light conditions. Thanks to its thin-walled design, the impact socket is particularly suitable for automotive applications, such as wheel nuts or work in confined spaces. Additionally, the impact socket features a dual-hole design with a ring groove for secure attachment to the 1/2" square drive.
