Intended use
Wire strippers are mechanical hand tools. They were specially developed to remove the insulation from electrical cables and wires. They enable precise stripping of the outer insulation layer to expose the copper conductor underneath. The specially shaped jaws have recesses that allow the insulation to be gripped and removed without damaging the copper conductor.
