Description of the
This mini ball turning attachment made from burnished steel can be clamped in the steel holder of lathes. It is intended for use on smaller lathes or for machining turned parts with diameters of up to 20 mm. When delivered, external radii of up to a maximum of six millimetres can be set. If the HSS insert is shortened accordingly, external radii of up to 10 mm can be set. The HSS insert is pre-ground. For optimum results, it is advisable to grind a chip groove. If the clamping screw is loosened, the HSS insert can be infinitely adjusted in the ball turning device. The insert has a clamping surface for a better grip.
