Description of the
This three-piece mini hand plane set consists of a mini block plane, a mini moulding plane and a mini scraper plane. The planer bodies are made of hardwood (rosewood) and the fittings are made of brass. The desired chip thickness can be set using the adjustable plane iron. The carbon steel planer blades are hardened and ground. On the block and moulding/corner planer, the inclination and cutting angle of the knives is approx. 45°, while the same angle is approx. 80° on the scraper planer. The blade locking screws of the planes are made of brass.
The block plane is particularly suitable for filigree work.
The moulding/corner planer is particularly suitable for making rebates and offsets.
The scraper plane is particularly suitable for smoothing and cleaning surfaces.
The planes in this set are supplied in a wooden box for professional and clean storage.
