Description of the
This set consists of a left, a right and a neutral clamping holder for HSS inserts with a cross-section of 3 x 3 mm. This clamp holder set can be used for a wide range of turning work. These inserts are only pre-ground and must therefore be ground for the respective application. HSS steel (high-speed steel) is a high-alloy tool steel that is mainly used as a cutting material in machining. It has the highest breaking strength and the best grindability, making it very suitable for grinding to size for various applications.
For example, the inserts for the neutral clamp holder can be ground for recesses in different widths. This means that the same clamp holder can be used to produce recesses of different widths. To do this, simply loosen the clamping screw on the holder and replace the insert.

Knappe Kiste...
Der Kopf zur Meißelaufnahme ist etwas unglücklich konstruiert - die Drehmeißeloberkante liegt ca. 4mm unterhalb der Schaftoberkante - da geht viel Höhe verloren um den Meißel auf Drehfuttermitte zu bringen... bei meiner Quantum D140x250Vario hat es ganz, ganz, ganz...knapp gepasst. Zudem hat die gerade Aufnahme eine etwas unglücklich lange Ausfräsung an der Oberseite (bis ca. 40mm vom Kopfende), die verhindert, dass die Aufnahme dort von oben geklemmt werden kann. Somit ragt der Drehstahl zwangsweise weit aus dem Halter heraus, was den Werkstückdurchmesser bei Minidrehbänken stark einschränkt. Aber nun auch noch etwas positives: die kleinen Meißelchen lassen sich recht problemlos in alle möglichen, sehr feine Formen schleifen und sind dabei recht robust.

Größer wäre besser
Habe mich bei der Größe versehen/verlesen. Schade das es die Halter und die Drehmeißel nicht größer gibt. Die Ware und der Service sind in Ordnung.
