Minimum quantity lubrication

Bargain: B-goods!

Intended use

Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) based on the Venturi principle is a special lubrication method in which only a very small amount of lubricant is used to reduce wear and friction when machining workpieces on machine tools. In contrast to conventional lubrication systems, in which a large quantity of lubricant is used, only a minimal lubricating film is used in minimum quantity lubrication. The lubricant is applied in the form of an aerosol, emulsion or oil mist directly to the cutting edge of the tool or in the machining area of the workpiece.
