Intended use
Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) based on the Venturi principle is a specialised lubrication method in which only a very small amount of lubricant is used to reduce wear and friction during the machining of workpieces on machine tools. In contrast to conventional lubrication systems, which use a larger quantity of lubricant, minimum quantity lubrication employs only a minimal lubricating film. In this process, the lubricant is applied directly to the cutting edge of the tool or into the machining area of the workpiece in the form of an aerosol, emulsion or oil mist.

Description of the
This minimum quantity lubrication system consists of a brass valve block with adjusting screw, a segmented hose with adjustable spray nozzle, a suction hose with suction filter and a compressed air connection for air hoses. There are two holes on the valve block which allow it to be permanently mounted on the machine.

Das Produkt ist prinzipiell gut! Die Dosierung über den Sprühknopf ist nicht ganz optimal. Weiterhin fehlt mir bei Paulimot diesbezügliches Zubehör.

Grundsätzlich gut, sehr gut verarbeitet, tut ihren Dienst. Ein zweites Reduzierventil für die Flüssigkeit wäre perfekt. Dann muss man nicht an der Düse fummeln.

Die ersten Versuche mit der MMS und dem empfohlenen K8 Flüsterkompressor von Paulimot waren ernüchternd - nach kurzer Zeit kein Flüssigkeitstransport mehr. Das was man unbedingt wissen sollte: den Ansaugvorgang kann man mit Aufdrehen und danach wieder Zudrehen der Venturi-Düse (das Messingteil vorne am Gelenkschlauch) "starten". Was man bei Verwendung des K8 Kompessors beachten sollte: - den K8 auf 4 bar voreinstellen - die Oberfläche der Schmierflüssigkeit darf zumindest beim K8 maximal 20cm tiefer als die Venturi-Düse stehen - das Regelventil der MMS so einstellen (zudrehen) das der K8 noch seinen Betriebsdruck halten kann

Die MMS hat mir beim drehen und fräsen von Alu-Knetlegierung geholfen., Keine Aufbauschneide und dementsprechend gute Oberflächen. Die Schmiereinrichtung läuft soweit wie gewünscht, wenn man den Luftstrom über ein externes Absperrventil regelt. Bei meiner MS ist das Nadelventil relativ wirkungslos. Völliges Absperren ist bei 4 bar Luftdruck nicht möglich. Ohne diese Manko wären 5 Sterne drin gewesen.
