Intended use

Bandsaws are used for cutting wood, metal, plastics, textiles, leather, aerated concrete, etc. However, their primary use is in woodworking. The saw blade is guided over two wheels, enabling a continuous, uninterrupted cut. Depending on the thickness of the saw blade used, both straight and curved cuts can be made. Circular cuts are also possible with the aid of special attachments.

Description of the

The MJ12 model is characterised by its excellent workmanship. The two ball-bearing-mounted, rubber-coated cast iron spoke wheels ensure extremely smooth running of the saw blade. Curved cuts can also be carried out comfortably on the sturdy 480 x 390 mm saw table. The table is made of grey cast iron and can be swivelled up to 45° via a toothed segment. The height of the saw blade guide is infinitely adjustable. This allows the saw blade to be perfectly adapted to the height of the workpiece being sawn. The saw blade is supported in the upper and lower guides on both sides and at the front by ball and needle bearings. These bearings are, of course, adjustable. With two cutting speeds (370 and 800 m/min) and the option to use saw blades from 6 to 20 mm, a wide range of diverse sawing tasks can be carried out. A 12.5 mm saw blade is included as standard. You will also find other compatible saw blades in various widths in our range. Changing the saw blade is quick and easy thanks to a quick-release lever. Both the viewing window for checking the band tension and the LED work light make working with this wood band saw much easier. The removable chip tray, the chip scraper on the lower roller and the connection for a dust extraction system are further advantages of this saw.
