Intended use

Parallel shims serve as a workpiece clamping aid for axis-parallel clamping during milling. They can be used either in conjunction with a machine vice to adjust the height of the workpiece in the vice, or as a shim when clamping the workpiece directly onto the worktable. This prevents damage to the machine table when drilling through the workpiece.
