Intended use
Drill chucks are used to clamp tools with a cylindrical shank, such as drills, countersinks, reamers, etc. Drill chucks are used in machine tools such as lathes, milling machines or drilling machines. Depending on the type of machine, a drill chuck with a suitable holder is required. A general distinction is made between drill chucks in which the tools are clamped with a spanner and drill chucks in which the tools can be clamped without a spanner, so-called quick-action drill chucks.

Description of the
With this precision quick-action drill chuck, the taper arbor and the drill bit holder consist of one part, i.e. the taper arbor cannot be separated from the drill chuck. In contrast to drill chucks with an inserted taper arbor, this design enables a higher concentricity to be achieved. The taper arbor has a tightening thread in the steep taper and is therefore suitable for use on milling machines. The clamping range of this chuck is 1 to 13 mm. As the three clamping jaws close completely, it is also possible to clamp tools with a shank diameter of less than 1 mm.
Note: Drill chucks are not suitable for milling work.
