The fibre coating allows workpieces with a polished or finely machined surface to be clamped in a vice without damaging them. Due to the good heat resistance of fibre, even heated workpieces can be clamped securely.
There are two magnets on the inside of each of the protective jaws. This prevents the jaws from falling off when clamping or releasing the workpiece.
These protective jaws are used to protect a workpiece that is clamped in a vice. To fulfil this function, these protective jaws must be made of a very soft material (aluminium). Due to the soft material, this product may show tiny scratches even when new, without this constituting a defect.

Bei meinem Schraubstock fallen diese Backen leicht runter. Die Magnete sollten stärker oder nicht so tief eingelassen sein.
