Intended use
Pull-down clamps are used when workpieces are to be clamped directly onto the worktable of a milling machine. With pull-down clamps, the workpiece is clamped laterally, leaving the entire surface of the workpiece free for machining. One advantage of this clamping method is that the clamping range is extremely flexible, depending on the size of the worktable.

Description of the
Made from hardened steel, this pull-down clamp has a jaw width of 50 mm and a jaw height of 24 mm. The pull-down clamp is placed directly on the worktable via the T-slots in the worktable. This means that the clamping width is only limited by the width of the worktable, which means that larger workpieces can also be clamped directly on a worktable.
Scope of delivery
- 1 x pull-down clamp, 50 mm jaw width
- 2 x screw M12 x 35
- 2 x T-slot stone M12

This two-part, very solid pull-down vice is made of nodular cast iron (cast iron with spheroidal graphite). Spheroidal graphite cast iron is a type of cast iron that has mechanical properties similar to steel due to the carbon contained in its spherical shape.
The replaceable jaws made of C45E steel are hardened and ground. The grooves milled into the jaws increase the holding force, making it more difficult for the workpiece to slip out. This two-part vice can be used to clamp both larger workpieces and workpieces whose clamping surfaces are not parallel to each other on the machine table.
Due to the design of this type of pull-down vice, the forces exerted when clamping the workpiece act very strongly in the direction of the machine table, preventing the workpiece from standing up during milling. The solid design ensures that the workpiece is clamped securely and quickly. The vice is fastened with clamping elements such as sliding blocks with threaded rods and collar nuts.
