Quick-release drill chuck for clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation 1 - 13 mm MK3

Intended use

Drill chucks are used to clamp tools with a cylindrical shank, such as drills, countersinks, reamers, etc. Drill chucks are used in machine tools such as lathes, milling machines or drilling machines. Depending on the type of machine, a drill chuck with a suitable holder is required. In general, a distinction is made between drill chucks in which the tools are clamped with a spanner and drill chucks in which the tools can be clamped without a spanner, so-called quick-action drill chucks.

Taper arbor and drill chuck connected via cone

Description of the

This quick-release drill chuck has a locking mechanism that prevents the drill chuck from loosening during anti-clockwise rotation. As a result, unlike conventional quick-release drill chucks, this drill chuck is suitable for clockwise and anti-clockwise rotation. The chuck is locked and unlocked by turning the red ring to "LOCK" or "UNLOCK". The drill chuck is supplied with a tapered arbour. The taper arbor and drill chuck are connected to each other via a form-fit B16 cone, i.e. the taper arbor can be separated from the drill chuck. The taper arbor has a drive-out tab and is therefore suitable for use both in drilling machines and in the tailstock of lathes. The clamping range of this chuck is 1 to 13 mm. As the three clamping jaws close completely, it is also possible to clamp tools with a shank diameter of less than 1 mm.

With this precision quick-action drill chuck, the taper arbor and the drill bit holder consist of one part, i.e. the taper arbor cannot be separated from the drill chuck. In contrast to drill chucks with an inserted taper arbor, this design enables a higher concentricity to be achieved. The taper arbor has a drive-out tab and is therefore suitable for use both in drilling machines and in the tailstock of lathes. The clamping range of this chuck is 1 to 16 mm. As the three clamping jaws close completely, it is also possible to clamp tools with a shank diameter of less than 1 mm.

This quick-action drill chuck is supplied with a tapered arbour. The taper arbor and drill chuck are connected to each other via a positive-locking B16 cone, i.e. the taper arbor can be separated from the drill chuck.
