Intended use

A rubber mallet is used to gently transfer the impact force to sensitive materials in order to prevent damage. This gentle way of transferring impact force is important in furniture or drywall construction, for example, as well as when tapping in tiles or stone slabs. The cylindrical hammer head is usually made of a hard rubber compound.
