Intended use

A rubber mallet is used to gently transfer the impact force to delicate materials in order to prevent any damage. This gentle method of transferring impact force is important, amongst other things, in furniture-making and drywall installation, as well as when tapping tiles or stone slabs into place. The cylindrical hammer head is usually made from a hard rubber compound.
