Description of the

The swivelling function of this machine vice makes it possible to process surfaces at a specific angle in relation to the clamping surface. The machining angle can be set and read off from 0 to 90° using the angle scale on the side. The desired angle position is fixed using a tommy screw. The vice has an adjustable stop screw for the zero position. The vice can be attached to a machine table using the four slotted holes.

Scope of delivery

  • 1 x SIEG swivel machine vice, 70 mm jaw width
  • 1 x toggle screw for angle fixation

This 360° rotating machine vice is particularly characterised by its quick-release mechanism. Vices with this technology are particularly suitable for series processing of workpieces of the same dimensions. The clamping range is preset via the spindle. The workpiece itself is clamped using the quick-clamping lever. Actuating the lever opens or closes the jaws by approx. 2 mm, enabling the workpieces to be changed quickly. The machining angle of +/- 90° can be set and read off using the angle scale on the turntable. The desired angle position is fixed using two nuts. The vice can be attached to a machine table using the slotted holes on the side.

This machine vice is ideal for precise clamping tasks where workpieces need to be machined at a defined angle to the clamping surface. Thanks to the integrated swivel function, the vice can be tilted from 0° to 90°. The desired angle can be precisely set and read using the angle scale on the side.

A sturdy toggle screw ensures the position is securely fixed. In addition, the swivel segment features locking holes at 15° intervals, enabling quick and repeatable adjustment to standard angles. An adjustable stop screw also facilitates a return to the zero position.

The vice can be securely mounted on a machine table via six slotted holes with a width of 12 mm.

Brauchbar
