Intended use
End mills are used for cutting pockets, creating grooves or contours, as well as for finishing surfaces or edges. With a finishing end mill, excellent dimensional accuracy and a smooth surface finish can be achieved at high speeds combined with a low feed rate.

Description of the
This 2-flute slotted end mill with a nominal diameter of 4 mm is made of HSS-E with a cobalt content of 5% in accordance with DIN 327. This gives the end mill improved heat resistance and wear resistance. The cutting edges of the end mill are ground through the centre, allowing it to be plunged into the material.

Feiner Grat vorhanden
Die seitliche Schneidfläche lässt einen feinen Grat stehen, dadurch ist eine Nachbearbeitung notwendig. Die Eintauchgeräusche sind sehr hoch. Gearbeitet wurde in Aluminium.
