Intended use
Rotating centres are mounted on the bed slide. A rotating centre supports the workpiece in the area of the turning tool. This enables continuous machining of long turned parts.

Description of the
This cast iron steady rest is secured to the bed slide using the Allen screws included in the delivery. The two brass support jaws are infinitely adjustable via knurled screws and allow for easy positioning on the workpiece. The position of the support jaws can be fixed using a hex nut for each jaw. This steady rest allows workpieces with a diameter of up to 60 mm to be machined through.
