Intended use
Thread-cutting dies, also known as reversible dies, are tools for clamping tap or reamer shanks with a square end. They are used for cutting threads by hand or reaming bores by hand. Thread-cutting dies are usually adjustable, so that square shanks of various sizes can be clamped.

Description of the
The hammer-finished tap wrenches in this set are made from drop-forged steel and are very sturdy. The four taps can be used to clamp (hand) taps from M2 to M22 or square shanks from 2 x 2 to 11 x 11 mm. The jaws of the tap wrenches are hardened.
