Intended use
Turning tools with replaceable cutting inserts are characterised by the fact that worn cutting edges can be replaced quickly and easily. This eliminates the need for the tedious and time-consuming task of re-sharpening the cutting edge. A further advantage of turning tools with indexable or interchangeable cutting inserts is that, depending on the material to be machined, the most suitable cutting insert can be fitted to the holder. For example, there are special cutting inserts for machining aluminium or non-ferrous metals. Both the holders and the cutting inserts are standardised and can be identified by their respective standard designations.

Voll ausreichend für viele Bearbeitungsvarianten
Bearbeitung von Stahl, Guss, Edelstahl und Messing. Schneidplatten NICHT für weichere Materialien wie Kupfer, Kunststoff und Holz verwendbar. Leichte Handhabung beim Schneidplattentausch. Ein abgewinkelter TORX-Schlüssel wäre dabei von Vorteil. Schneidplattenhalter voll ausreichend für 1,5mm Spanabnahme bei Stahl.

Ich war es leid meine zusammengestoppelten Drehmeißel immer wieder neu einzurichten. Nun habe ich einen stabilen Satz Drehmeißel mit einheitlicher Höhe. Ich bin nur ein gelegentlicher Anwender aber das Schnittergebnis ist sehr viel besser als bisher. Die Kaufabwicklung verlief ohne Probleme. Gewünscht hätte ich mir einen Hinweis welche Wendeplatten ich im Bedarfsfall nachbestellen kann um Fehlbestellungen zu vermeiden.

Qualität gefällt mir aber eine Nummer größer ist bei mir besser für den Halter. Der Tausch war auch problemlos. Was ja auch sehr wichtig ist.
