Intended use
Turning tools with replaceable cutting inserts are characterised by the fact that worn cutting edges can be replaced quickly and easily. This eliminates the need for the tedious and time-consuming task of re-sharpening the cutting edge. A further advantage of turning tools with indexable or interchangeable cutting inserts is that, depending on the material to be machined, the most suitable cutting insert can be fitted to the holder. For example, there are special cutting inserts for machining aluminium or non-ferrous metals. Both the holders and the cutting inserts are standardised and can be identified by their respective standard designations.

Description of the
This turning tool with the standard designation SCUCR0410F06 has a shank of 6 x 10 mm and an overall length of 80 mm. The insert is made of sintered carbide. In contrast to HSS chisels, the high temperature resistance of carbide allows higher cutting speeds. In addition, this insert is titanium nitride-coated, which contributes to greater heat resistance and a longer service life. TiN-coated inserts are intended for universal use. For special applications, this carbide insert can be replaced by another insert that is suitable for the material to be machined. You can find these special indexable inserts in our range. You can also order the standard inserts from us individually or as a set of 10.

Gute Ergänzung für kleine Durchmesser
Sehr gut geeignet für kleinere Innendurchmesser. Spanabnahme sollte für genaues Arbeiten dann aber nicht zu groß eingestellt werden.

Interessante Alternaive zu einer runden Bohrstange mit 6mm Durchmesser.
Habe mir diesen Innendrehmeissel als Alternative zur Bohrstange mit 6mm Durchmesser bestellt. Durch den breiteren rechteckigen Schaft ist er um einiges steifer als die runde Bohrstange. Qualtität, Lieferung und Preis wie immer gut. Top zufrieden

Der Innendrehmeissel zeigt trotz der kompakten Ausführung eine gute Formstabilität bei höherer Schnittleistung.
