Intended use

Bandsaws are used for sawing wood, metal, plastics, textiles, leather, aerated concrete, etc. However, the main area of application is woodworking. The band saw blade is guided by two wheels, enabling continuous, uninterrupted cutting. Depending on the thickness of the saw blade used, both straight and curved cuts can be produced. Circular cuts are also possible with the aid of special devices.

Description of the

The MJ9 model is characterised by its excellent workmanship. The two ball-bearing mounted, rubberised cast spoke wheels ensure that the saw band runs very smoothly. Even curved cuts can be made comfortably on the sturdy 300 x 300 mm saw table. The table is made of cast aluminium and can be tilted up to 45° via a toothed segment. The height of the saw blade guide is infinitely adjustable. This allows the saw blade to be perfectly adjusted to the height of the workpiece to be sawn. The saw blade is supported in the upper and lower guide by ball and needle bearings at the sides and front. These bearings are of course adjustable. The possibility of using saw bands from 3 to 10 mm allows extensive and diverse sawing work to be carried out. A band saw blade with a width of 6.5 mm is fitted as standard. You will also find other suitable saw bands in various widths in our range. The saw blade can be changed quickly and easily using a quick-release lever. The LED work light also makes working with this wood band saw much easier. The removable chip drawer, the chip scraper on the lower roller and the connection socket for an extraction system are further advantages of this saw.
