Intended use
Core hole drills are used to produce holes with a defined diameter, which are required as a basis for subsequent thread cutting. They produce a dimensionally accurate core hole that corresponds to the required thread type and size. This enables a precise, resilient internal thread and reduces tool wear during thread cutting.

Description of the
The drill bits in this eleven-piece core drill bit set are made of HSS steel with a five per cent cobalt content (M35). The cobalt alloy gives the drills increased heat hardness and very good wear resistance. They are suitable for machining stainless steels, hardened steels and high-strength alloys.
