Intended use

Description of the
The 400-volt version of the RS2000 belt and pipe grinder is designed for professional use in workshops and metalworking companies. The two-stage motor allows the sander to be operated at two different belt speeds. The robust design with solid steel stand ensures high stability and low-vibration operation. The 400 x 100 mm surface grinding table is located on the top of the machine. When the surface grinding table is not in use, it can be completely covered by a flap. The front sanding area on the contact roller is particularly suitable for processing edges, radii and profiled workpieces. The machine also has a rear sanding area that can be used by reversing the direction of travel of the sanding belt, thus enabling even more flexible working. A contact roller with a diameter of 40 mm is fitted as standard; seven additional rollers with diameters of 18, 22, 30, 33, 48, 63 and 74 mm are also included in the scope of delivery. The transparent Plexiglas spark guard is adjustable and ensures safe working. There is an adjustable workpiece stop on both sanding areas. Two removable chip trays with 75 mm diameter extraction nozzles allow an external extraction system to be connected, ensuring clean working conditions. The machine is equipped with a practical clamping device for quick sanding belt changes, which enables tool-free belt changes. The sanding belt is automatically tensioned by a spring-supported belt tensioning system, which makes changing and operation particularly convenient. There are four holes in the base of the underframe for floor mounting.
