Intended use
A direct collet chuck is a clamping device with which workpieces or tools can be clamped with high accuracy. When using direct collets, the tool or workpiece is clamped directly with the collet in the machine spindle without the use of an additional holder (such as a collet chuck in the ER collet system). Tools with a cylindrical shank such as milling cutters, drills, countersinks, taps, etc. can be clamped.
