Cross tables
Cross tables can be used to carry out precise drilling and milling work on drilling and milling machines, as they can be moved in both the X and Y axes. This allows the workpiece to be positioned precisely under the tool. The workpiece is fixed in the desired position on the cross table using clamping claws, hold-down clamps or similar.
