Quick-action drill chuck 1-16 mm + taper arbor MK3 / B18
Intended use
Drill chucks are used for clamping tools with a cylindrical shank, such as drills, countersinks, reamers, etc. Drill chucks are used in machine tools such as lathes, milling machines or drilling machines. Depending on the type of machine, a drill chuck with a suitable holder is required. A general distinction is made between drill chucks in which the tools are clamped with a spanner and drill chucks in which the tools can be clamped without a spanner, so-called quick-action drill chucks.

Taper arbor and drill chuck connected via cone
Description of the
This quick-action drill chuck is supplied with a tapered arbour. The taper arbor and drill chuck are connected to each other via a positive-locking B18 cone, i.e. the taper arbor can be separated from the drill chuck. The taper arbor has a drive-out tab and is therefore suitable for use both in drilling machines and in the tailstock of lathes. The clamping range of this chuck is 1 to 16 mm. As the three clamping jaws close completely, it is also possible to clamp tools with a shank diameter of less than 1 mm.
