Description of the
This replacement sanding belt, measuring 2,000 x 100 mm, is designed for use on stationary belt sanders and is particularly suitable for medium-duty sanding work and the finishing of workpiece surfaces. The Z80 grit is intended for re-sanding, deburring and smoothing surfaces. This makes the sanding belt particularly suitable for workshops, metal construction, metalworking, manufacturing and craft applications. The sanding belt is equipped with zirconia corundum abrasive grains. Zirconia corundum is known for its high durability and good removal rate and is particularly suitable for demanding sanding work on metal. The medium grit size supports uniform machining and produces a finer finish than coarse grits, whilst remaining suitable for effective material removal. With dimensions of 2,000 x 100 mm, the sanding belt is suitable for belt sanders with a corresponding belt holder. The direction of travel marked on the reverse side facilitates correct installation and should be observed when fitting the sanding belt. The backing designation VT3 indicates the fabric backing of the sanding belt and denotes a robust design for typical sanding applications. The sanding belt can be used on metal, steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium and other sandable materials. It is suitable for both dry and wet sanding applications, provided the machine and working environment are designed for this purpose. When using the belt, the safety instructions printed on it must be observed; in particular, safety goggles, face protection and suitable body protection should be worn.
