Centre punch
Centre punches can be used to make small, conical indentations in the surface of workpieces in order to add contours and guide lines. For example, a centre punch can be used as a centring aid when drilling a hole. When using manual centre punches, the indentations are made on the material by lightly tapping the centre punch tool with a hammer. When using an automatic centre punch, on the other hand, a spring mechanism inside the tool triggers a self-impact effect when the handle is pressed down, which creates the indentation in the workpiece. Most of our centre punches are suitable for metal, wood, steel, aluminium, plastic and copper.
