Glass scale measuring system sets
A glass measuring system is used for the linear measurement of distances. A read head moves along a glass scale. The coding applied there is registered photo-electrically, converted into distance in the connected computer and shown on a display. This allows the actual position of a workpiece or tool to be displayed in a coordinate system.
