paulimot Lathes with Vario drive

When purchasing a lathe, the question often arises as to which machine is best suited and what should be considered when buying. Here you will find an overview of our lathes with Vario drive. We present our various models in more detail and help you to find out which lathe is suitable for your projects.

Small lathes

SIEG C2 and SIEG SC2

The SIEG C2 is our entry-level model for small chips. It has an output power of 250 watts and a centre distance of 400 mm. The machine is driven by a brush motor with belt drive and also has a two-stage gearbox. The speed range extends from 100 to 2,500 rpm.

The SIEG SC2 can be described as the C2's big sister in terms of drive technology, as the output power of this model is 500 watts.

Large lathes

PM190-V

The PM190-V is the only lathe with Vario drive in the paulimot series. It is very strongly motorised for its size and is therefore a small and powerful machine. It has an output power of 550 watts and a centre distance of 400 mm. The machine is driven by a 3-phase asynchronous three-phase motor made in Germany with a specially adapted frequency converter made in Austria. The speed range from 50 to 2,500 rpm is covered by four speed ranges with corresponding belt positions in order to always achieve optimum torque. On the PM190-V, the longitudinal feed can be activated via the lock nut and a digital speed display is fitted as standard.

SC4

The SIEG SC4 is one of the larger lathes with Vario drive in the paulimot made by SIEG range. This special model has a centre distance of 510 mm and is equipped with a 125 mm jaw chuck. The SC4 has an output power of 1,000 watts and the speed range from 100 to 2,000 rpm is covered by a belt adjustment. The SC4 also has a combined lead and pull spindle, allowing the feeds to be switched either via the lock nut or the additional control lever. The speed and direction of rotation can be set very easily via the control panel. The lead screw can also be disengaged using the corresponding buttons.

SC6

The SIEG SC6 has only recently been added to our range of lathes. It has a centre width of 510 mm and is equipped with a 125 mm jaw chuck. The SC6 has an output power of 1,000 watts and the entire speed range from 100 to 2,000 rpm is covered by a belt setting. The machine is particularly characterised by its high-torque drive.

SC10

The SIEG SC10 is one of the largest lathes with Vario drive in our range. It has a centre width of 700 mm and a very solid bed. It is very powerful with an output power of 1,500 watts. The feeds can be switched either via the lock nut or via the gear lever, which means that it is no longer necessary to change the change wheels manually. The machine also has a reversible centre for changing the direction of rotation of the lead screw, making it possible to produce left-hand threads. The slip clutch on the pull spindle serves as protection when working with the machine. Here too, simple operation is possible at the touch of a button.

SC12

The SIEG SC12 is the largest lathe with Vario drive in our range. It has a centre distance of 1000 mm . This centre lathe and feed spindle lathe is driven by a powerful, brushless DC motor with an output power of 1,500 watts and has a speed range of 100 to 2,000 rpm. The dynamic control ensures a high torque in all speed ranges. A reversible centre allows the direction of rotation of the lead screw to be changed independently of the direction of rotation of the lathe chuck. Here too, simple operation is possible at the touch of a button.
