Hand tap sets
Internal threads can be produced manually with the help of hand tap sets. A thread is cut in three passes using the pre-cutter, centre cutter and finish cutter. As the pre-cutter, centre cutter and finish cutter of manual taps extend over almost the entire length of the cutting edge, they are particularly suitable for producing threads in blind holes.
